Some info about me.
I had thought my retirement years would be filled with travels and photography. Those expectations were thrown for a loop when I was diagnosed with cancer, Multiple Myeloma, in 2015. The upside to that diagnosis was we lived in Salt Lake City, home of Huntsman Cancer Institute. Huntsman saved my life and gave me many more years than I expected. I have outlived the initial length of time by 4 years. I'm currently in the 9th year of living with cancer. It's thrown everything off. But I have a huge body of photography gathered prior to diagnosis. I am slowly working on reviewing and posting photos. My interest is, and has always been, bugs. There is a whole world around us which we pass by every day. Unseen as we hustle about our lives it is critical to our existence. Enjoy these photos. Hopefully they'll illuminate that world around us and open eyes to a world we all too often overlook.
